Observe a dynamic equilibrium and Le Chatelier's principle in action while studying 4 different reactions. By adding acid or base, or by changing the temperature of a substance, students see how the equilibrium shifts to reactants or products. In the final activity, students approximate the Ka of acetic acid. Students write balanced chemical equations and equilibrium expressions, and they learn how Le Chatelier's principle made possible the Haber process for producing ammonia.
