Through this interactive board game, students explore the processes involved in the rock cycle. By landing their game pieces on different events that occur in the rock cycle, students collect, exchange, and lose their sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock card samples. When these events happen, students record the actions that caused the change in their card collections. They use the information to gain a better understanding of the earth processes involved in the rock cycle.
 
The game contains enough material for a class of 32 students working in groups of 4. Includes 8 sets of colorful activity boards, cards, and game pieces; 32 student worksheets and geologist's notes; and a teacher's manual.
